Faith question
The Temple does not blame God for suffering. Suffering exists; what matters is how you move through it and who you become because of it.
The Temple does not insult people by pretending suffering is simple, fair, or easy to explain. Children get hit by trucks. Loved ones die of cancer. Bad people sometimes live through everything while good people suffer and die. Grief and pain deserve truth, not slogans.
Temple answer
God is not a wizard in the sky handing out pain as punishment. Bad things happen because life is always moving, evolving, colliding, changing, breaking, rebuilding, and unfolding. Suffering comes through life, biology, nature, systems, human choices, accidents, conflict, ignorance, responsibility, and the pressure of becoming.
The question is not only why suffering exists. The deeper Temple question is: who do you want to become, and what suffering are you willing to endure to become that? If you are a bodybuilder, nurse, leader, parent, builder, protector, teacher, or servant, suffering can come with the path you chose.
The Temple response is not denial. The Temple response is prayer, discipline, truth, community, protection, renewal, and action. Water does not stop being water when it meets resistance. It finds a path.
